What I do

I teach  Fitness,  Gold & Toning....all of which will get you in great shape in a fun way.

If you like to move to music, my classes are for you.  It is exercise in disguise.  Come & join me at any of my classes, it is all easy to follow, dance experience certainly not needed just a love of music, old & new.

Here is an idea of what each class style is;-

Fitness is a high energy dance fitness class using many different styles of music. It is for those of you who are reasonably fit but wish to improve. Every few weeks, we will use a mat at the end of the session for 10 mins specific tummy/arm toning...e.g. sit ups.

Gold is aimed at those who are new to exercise or have had an injury/illness/pregnancy. Gold classes helps with balance, flexibility, co-ordination, cognitive ability & most important of all…it’s fun dancing! I use lots of 60's music in the Gold classes.

Toning is an all over body workout but we particularly focus on the tums & arms using weighted maracas to shake, boogie & tone. Once a month I will use the maracas for some of the tracks....I let you know the week before so if you have your own weights, you can bring them along. This will be in both the Fitness & the Gold classes.

Fancy walking but no-one to walk with?

We have a walking group which meets every Monday morning 10am by the Buckle car park, Seaford. We walk to Splash Point & back along the prom, stopping for a coffee at one of the cafes on the way back. Come & join us. Tortoise & hare walkers  all welcome....someone will be at your speed.

Fundraising

Each month I am picking a local charity to support, giving half of the money I get from class participants.

It usually involves me 'doing something ' as well!

For May I chose Newhaven RNLI. Also, several of the class participants took part in a sponsored walk for Newhaven RNLI in May, plus I did a 10k run for them too. Well done to us all !

June is for the organisation called 'Out of the Blue'......who fund raise for charities helping bereaved families cope with the sudden death of a loved one.....it came 'Out of the Blue' I did a 10k run for them.

July's charity was the ABC Children's Fund. I did their 'Colour Run' with one of my ladies.

The August charity was Motor Neurone Disease...MND. I'll be running 60 miles over the month.

September is the turn of Chestnut Tree House. On Sun 10th Sept I will be doing a 10k in Littlehampton for them.

October is the turn of the Sussex, Surrey & Kent (KSS}  Air Ambulance charity....the helicopter. I will be doing a sponsored walk in Surrey on Sun 1stOct in aid of this charity.

I am continuing my support for KSS during the month of Jan, Feb, March, April 2024 through my classes & by running  the Worthing half marathon on 28th April. I have a Just Giving page if you would like to donate. Type in my name & Air Ambulance KSS & you should see me in a pink top with my hair still short! Thank you.

Each time you attend a class, you will be keeping fit & supporting a local charity.
